其一至、曰、主之一斤、已獲十斤矣、

其一至曰、主之十金、已獲百金矣、

其一至曰、主人一彌拿、已獲十彌拿、

一僕先至曰：「主之一金、生利十金。」

And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more.

Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.

So the first one came before him and said,‘ Sir, your mina has made ten minas more.’

But someone will say,“ You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works.You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe— and they shudder.Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected.So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.And in the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by a different route?For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your own hand.For we live before You as foreigners and temporary residents in Your presence as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.Yahweh our God, all this wealth that we’ve provided for building You a house for Your holy name comes from Your hand; everything belongs to You.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.There is reserved for me in the future the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved His appearing.

But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.I labor for this, striving with His strength that works powerfully in me.
