“ He said to him,‘ If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

他们和保罗约定了日子，就有许多人到他的寓处来。保罗从早到晚，对他们讲论这事，证明神国的道，引摩西的律法和先知的书，以耶稣的事劝勉他们。

如果我们的福音蒙蔽，就是蒙蔽在灭亡的人身上。

亚基帕对保罗说：“你想稍微一劝，便叫我作基督徒啊！”

保罗进会堂，放胆讲道，一连三个月，辩论神国的事，劝化众人。

我们既知道主是可畏的，所以劝人。但我们在神面前是显明的，盼望在你们的良心里也是显明的。

但祭司长商议连拉撒路也要杀了；因有好些犹太人为拉撒路的缘故，回去信了耶稣。

说了这话，就大声呼叫说：“拉撒路出来！”那死人就出来了，手脚裹着布，脸上包着手巾。耶稣对他们说：“解开，叫他走！”那些来看马利亚的犹太人见了耶稣所做的事，就多有信他的；但其中也有去见法利赛人的，将耶稣所做的事告诉他们。祭司长和法利赛人聚集公会，说：“这人行好些神迹，我们怎么办呢？若这样由着他，人人都要信他，罗马人也要来夺我们的地土和我们的百姓。”内中有一个人，名叫该亚法，本年作大祭司，对他们说：“你们不知道什么。独不想一个人替百姓死，免得通国灭亡，就是你们的益处。”他这话不是出于自己，是因他本年作大祭司，所以预言耶稣将要替这一国死；也不但替这一国死，并要将神四散的子民都聚集归一。从那日起，他们就商议要杀耶稣。

愿神使雅弗扩张，使他住在闪的帐棚里；又愿迦南作他的奴仆。”
