曰、不聽摩西與先知、即有自死而起者、彼亦不受勸也、

亞伯拉罕曰、不聽摩西及先知、縱有由死復活者、彼亦不信、

亞伯漢曰：「不聽摩西與先知、縱死者復活亦不可勸化矣。」

“ He said to him,‘ If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

“ Abraham said to him,‘ They do not listen to Moses and the Prophets. So they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”

He said to him,‘ If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

“ But Abraham said,‘ If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

He replied to him,‘ If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

于是，他们和保罗约定了会面的日期。那一天，很多人来到保罗住的地方。从早到晚，保罗向他们传扬上帝国的道，引用摩西律法和先知书劝他们相信有关耶稣的事。

然而，即使我们所传的福音被遮蔽，也是在那些灭亡的人当中被遮蔽。

亚基帕王对保罗说：“难道你想三言两语就说服我成为基督徒吗？”

保罗一连三个月勇敢地在会堂里传道，与人辩论上帝国的事，劝导他们。

我们知道主是当受敬畏的，所以劝人归信祂。我们的内心如何，上帝知道，我盼望你们的良心也知道。

于是，祭司长计划连拉撒路也杀掉，因为有许多犹太人因为拉撒路的缘故离开他们，去信了耶稣。

说完，就大声呼喊：“拉撒路，出来！”那死者就出来了，手脚都缠着布条，脸上也包着布。耶稣对他们说：“给他解开，让他走！”许多来看玛丽亚的犹太人看见耶稣所行的事，就信了祂，但也有些人去见法利赛人，把耶稣所行的事告诉他们。祭司长和法利赛人便召开公会会议，说：“这人行了这么多神迹，我们该怎么办呢？如果让祂这样继续下去，所有的人都会信祂，那时罗马人一定会来夺取我们的土地，掳掠我们的人民。”当年担任大祭司的该亚法对他们说：“你们什么都不懂！你们没有认识到，祂一个人替众人死，而不是整个民族灭亡，对你们来说更好。”其实这句话不是出于他自己，只因那年他是大祭司，上帝借着他预言耶稣将要替犹太民族死。祂不单是要替犹太民族死，也要把散居在各处的上帝的儿女聚集在一起。从那天起，他们就计划要杀害耶稣，

愿上帝扩张雅弗的疆界，愿他住在闪的帐篷里，让迦南做他的仆人。”
