他們像註定下到陰間的羊群，死亡將作他們的牧者；到了清晨，正直人將管轄他們。他們的形體必被陰間吞噬，無處容身。

忘記神的人哪，你們當領悟這事，免得我撕碎你們，沒有人解救！

信從子的人，就有永恆的生命；但是不肯信從子的人，見不到生命，而且神的震怒也停留在他身上。

現在來吧，你們這些富有的人哪！應當為那些將要臨到你們的慘禍而痛哭、哀號！你們的財富腐爛了；你們的衣服被蟲蛀了；你們的金銀也生鏽了，這鏽將成為控告你們的見證，又要像火那樣吃你們的肉。在這末後的日子裡，你們竟然積蓄財富！看哪！工人收割你們的田地，你們所剋扣他們的工錢正在呼叫，收割者的冤聲也已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在地上奢侈生活、享樂度日，為宰殺的日子養肥了自己的心！你們把義人定了罪、把他殺害了，他沒有抗拒你們。所以弟兄們，你們當恆久忍耐，直到主的來臨。看哪，農夫等待著田地裡寶貴的果實，為此恆久忍耐，直到果實得著秋雨春雨。

那時，你們必再次看出義人與惡人、服事神的人與不服事神的人的區別。」

所以，我們自己在神的各教會中以你們誇耀，因為你們在一切的逼迫和患難中保持著你們的忍耐和信仰。這正是神公義審判的證據，好使你們算是配得上神的國；你們也正是為此而受苦害的。神既然真是公義的，當主耶穌與他有大能的天使們一起從天上顯現的時候，他就要以患難回報那些加患難給你們的人，也要使你們這些受患難的人與我們一同得到安息。神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；他們將受到刑罰，就是永遠的滅亡，從主面前被隔絕，離開他權能的榮耀。在那日，主來臨的時候，要藉著他的聖徒得著榮耀，又藉著所有的信徒令人驚奇——因為你們相信了我們對你們所做的見證。

婭比蓋回到納巴爾那裡，看哪，他在家裡擺設宴席，像王的宴席一樣。納巴爾心情好，醉得很厲害，所以婭比蓋無論大事小事都沒有告訴他，直到早晨天亮。

我告訴你：除非你還清了最後的一個小錢，否則你絕不能從那裡出來。」

太陽帶著熱氣升起，草地枯萎，草上的花也凋謝，它表面的美麗也就消逝了；照樣，富有的人在他的追求中，也將衰殘。忍受試煉的人是蒙福的；因為他經過考驗以後，就要得到生命的冠冕，就是主應許給那些愛他之人的。

「結果這些人將離去，進入永遠的刑罰。然而，義人將進入永恆的生命。」

然後那迷惑他們的魔鬼被丟進烈火和硫磺的湖裡，就是那獸和那假先知所在的地方；他們將日夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

行不義的，讓他繼續行不義；骯髒的，讓他繼續骯髒；公義的，讓他繼續行公義；聖潔的，讓他繼續被分別為聖。」
