“ Still another said,‘ I just got married, so I can’t come.’

又有一个说：‘我才娶了妻，所以不能去。’

还有一个说，‘我刚结了婚，所以不能去。’

又一个说：‘我刚结了婚，不能去。’

“另有人说：‘我刚娶了妻子，所以不能去。’

又有一個說：『我才娶了妻，所以不能去。』

又有一個說：『我才娶了妻子，所以不能去。』

又有一個說：『我才娶了妻子，所以不能去。』

還有一個說，『我剛結了婚，所以不能去。』

又一個說：‘我剛結了婚，不能去。’

又另一個說：「我剛娶了妻，故此不能去」。

「另有人說：『我剛娶了妻子，所以不能去。』

又一人曰、我方娶妻、故不能往、

又一人曰、我方娶、不獲來、僕歸告主、

又一人曰、我方娶妻、故不得來、

又一人曰：「予方新婚、不克赴筵。」

“ Still another said,‘ I just got married, so I can’t come.’

And another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’

And another one said,‘ I took a woman as my wife, and for that reason I cannot come.’

Still another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’

And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

“ And another said,‘ I just got married, and therefore I’m unable to come.’

And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

Another said,‘ I just got married, and I cannot come.’

“ Another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I can’t come.’

Suppose a man has just married his wife. Then don’t send him into battle. Don’t give him any other duty either. He’s free to stay home for one year. He needs time to make his new wife happy.

But a married man is concerned about the matters of this world. He wants to know how he can please his wife.

“ What I’m about to tell you is true,” Jesus said to them.“ Has anyone left home or wife or husband or brothers or sisters or parents or children for God’s kingdom?They will receive many times as much in this world. In the world to come they will receive eternal life.”

Brothers and sisters, what I mean is that the time is short. From now on, those who have a husband or wife should live as if they did not.Those who mourn should live as if they did not. Those who are happy should live as if they were not. Those who buy something should live as if it were not theirs to keep.Those who use the things of the world should not become all wrapped up in them. The world as it now exists is passing away.

“ Anyone who comes to me must hate their father and mother. They must hate their wife and children. They must hate their brothers and sisters. And they must hate even their own life. Unless they do this, they can’t be my disciple.Whoever doesn’t carry their cross and follow me can’t be my disciple.“ Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you sit down first and figure out how much it will cost? Then you will see whether you have enough money to finish it.
