But the gate is narrow and the way is difficult that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

So when Peter saw him, he asked Jesus,“ Lord, what about him?”Jesus replied,“ If I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours? You follow me!”

As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said,“ Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”Jesus answered them,“ Watch out that no one misleads you.For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many.

For many are called, but few are chosen.”

So they asked him,“ Teacher, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that these things are about to take place?”He said,“ Watch out that you are not misled. For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them!

Then someone from the crowd said to him,“ Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”But Jesus said to him,“ Man, who made me a judge or arbitrator between you two?”Then he said to them,“ Watch out and guard yourself from all types of greed, because one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

So the last will be first, and the first last.”

He told them,“ You are not permitted to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth.”

“ Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that all these things are about to take place?”Jesus began to say to them,“ Watch out that no one misleads you.

The disciples were greatly astonished when they heard this and said,“ Then who can be saved?”
