人把你们拉到会堂、官长和当权者的面前，你们不要思虑怎样申辩或说什么话。

人带你们到会堂，并官府和有权柄的人面前，不要思虑怎么分诉，说什么话；

有人带你们到会堂、官长和掌权的人面前，不要担心怎么答辩，说什么话；

有人带你们到会堂、官长和掌权的人面前，不要担心怎么答辩，说什么话；

当人押你们到会堂，或到官员和当权者面前时，不要顾虑如何辩解，或说什么话，

当他们把你们带到会堂，或带到统治者和掌权者面前的时候，不要忧虑怎样申辩或说什么。

人曳爾至會堂、及執政操權者前、毋慮何以對、何所言、

人曳爾至會堂、及執政秉鈞者前、勿慮將如之何、何以訴、何以言、

人曳爾至會堂及執政秉權者前、勿慮將如何伸訴、何以伸訴、何以言、

人曳爾至會堂、或有司之前、毋庸鰓鰓過慮、其何以辯護、如何措詞、

“ When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,

Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say.

Now when they bring you before the synagogues and the officials and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;

And when they bring you before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, be not anxious how or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say.

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and[ unto] magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say;

你们要小心，因为有人要把你们送交公议会，并要在会堂里鞭打你们；你们为我的缘故，也要被带到统治者和君王面前，向他们和外族人作见证。你们被捕的时候，用不着担心说什么和怎么说，因为那时你们必得着当说的话；因为说话的不是你们，而是你们的父的灵，是他在你们里面说话。

第二天，犹太人的官长、长老、经学家，都聚集在耶路撒冷，还有大祭司亚那和该亚法、约翰、亚历山大，以及大祭司的家人，所有的人都在那里。他们叫使徒都站在当中，查问说：“你们凭什么能力，奉谁的名作这事？”

但你们要小心！因为人要把你们交给公议会，你们要在会堂里被鞭打，又要为我的缘故站在总督和君王面前，向他们作见证。然而福音必须先传给万民。人把你们捉去送官的时候，用不着预先思虑要说什么，到那时候赐给你们什么话，你们就说什么，因为说话的不是你们，而是圣灵。

但在这一切以先，人必为我的名，下手拘捕、迫害你们，把你们交给会堂，下在监里，甚至押到君王和总督面前，结果却成了你们见证的机会。所以，你们应当心里镇定，用不着预先思虑怎样申辩。

因此，我差派先知、智慧人和经学家到你们那里；有些你们要杀害又钉在十字架上，有些你们要在会堂里鞭打，从一个城赶逐到另一个城。

耶稣又对门徒说：“所以我告诉你们，不要为生命忧虑吃什么，也不要为身体忧虑穿什么。

既然带来了，就叫他们站在公议会前。大祭司问他们：“我们严厉地吩咐过你们，不准再奉这名教导。看，你们却把你们的道理传遍了耶路撒冷，想要把流这人的血的责任推到我们身上。”彼得和众使徒回答：“服从神过于服从人，是应当的。你们挂在木头上亲手杀害的耶稣，我们祖先的神已经使他复活了。神把他高举在自己的右边，作元首作救主，把悔改的心赐给了以色列人，使他们罪得赦免。我们为这些事作证，神赐给顺从的人的圣灵也为这些事作证。”

当时有几个称为“自由人”会堂的人，就是从古利奈和亚历山太来的人，另外还有基利家人和亚西亚人，他们出面与司提反辩论，但司提反靠着圣灵和智慧说话，他们就抵挡不住。于是他们唆使众人，说：“我们听过他说谤渎摩西和神的话。”又煽动民众、长老、经学家，这些人就来捉拿他，把他带到公议会，并且造了假的证供说：“这人不断抨击圣地和律法。我们听他说过：‘这拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏这地方，改变摩西传给我们的规例。’”当时，坐在公议会里的人，都注视他，见他的面貌像天使一样。
