不信上帝的人心存憤怒，被上帝捆綁也不求救。

王派那位攙扶他的將領守在城門口維持秩序，那將領卻被湧出的人群踩死，應驗了上帝的僕人在王去見他時所說的話。

大家聽了，都同聲讚美上帝，又對保羅說：「弟兄，你知道數以萬計的猶太人信了主，他們都嚴守律法。

你們這些偽善的人！既然知道觀察天色、預測天氣，為什麼不知道觀察這個世代呢？

結果耶穌的名聲傳得更廣了，成群的人聚集到祂那裡聽祂講道、求祂醫病。

你們有禍了！因為你們就像沒有墓碑的墳墓，人們從上面走過也不知道。」

耶穌和他們下了山，站在一處平地上，身邊有一大群門徒，還有大批從猶太、耶路撒冷以及泰爾和西頓沿海地區來的人，要聽祂講道，盼望祂醫治他們的疾病。
