致創世以來所流先知之血、皆於此代而討焉、

使創世以來、流先知血之罪、將於此代而討焉、

致創世以來、流先知之血、悉將討於此代、

故自有世以來、眾先知所流之血、咸將歸於斯代。」

Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world,

至于你们的生命之血，我必为你们追讨：我要向野兽追讨，我也要向人，甚至向各人的兄弟追讨人命。那杀人流血的，他必被杀流血，因为神是按照自己的形像造人的。

看哪！耶和华就要从自己的地方出来，惩罚地上居民的罪孽；地必显露其中的血，不再遮盖被杀的人。

因为追讨血债的那一位会记念他们，不会忘记卑微人的呼声。

上天哪、圣徒们、使徒们、先知们哪，你们应当因她欢喜！因为神已经向她施行审判，为你们惩罚她！”随后，一位强有力的天使拿起一块像大磨石那样的石头，把它丢进海里，说：“大巴比伦城也将这样被猛烈地扔下去，绝不会再找到了！弹琴的、奏乐的、吹笛的、吹号之人的声音，在你中间绝不会再听到了！各种手艺的工匠，在你中间绝不会再找到了！磨石的声音，在你中间绝不会再听到了！灯的亮光，在你中间绝不会再照耀了！新郎和新娘的声音，在你中间绝不会再听到了！因为你的商人一向是地上的大人物，又因为万国都被你的邪术所迷惑，而且先知们、圣徒们以及地上一切被杀之人的血，在你那里都被发现了。”
