He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.

You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.

Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,“ Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:“ Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

“ We have heard the pride of Moab( He is exceedingly proud), Of his loftiness and arrogance and pride, And of the haughtiness of his heart.”“ I know his wrath,” says the Lord,“ But it is not right; His lies have made nothing right.

Have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like His?Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, And array yourself with glory and beauty.Disperse the rage of your wrath; Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him.Look on everyone who is proud, and bring him low; Tread down the wicked in their place.

MENE: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it;TEKEL: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting;PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.”Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold around his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.That very night Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was slain.And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about sixty-two years old.

Or did God ever try to go and take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
