爾必默不能言、以至事成之日、因爾不信我言、而屆時必應也、

爾必瘖不能言、直至事成之日、以爾不信我言、屆時、我言必應、

因是將成瘖啞、以迄事成之日。』

我使爾舌卷、瘖不能言、維彼悖逆之流、毋庸督責、

上帝真實無妄、既許之而復誓之、皆不可易、吾素避難、冀得所許之福、大可慰藉、

見愛於我者、我譴責之、故當銳志悔改、

爾可啟口、勿復緘默、以示免難之人、使知爾為徵、我乃耶和華。

遂以首示意、問其父欲何名、父請簡、書曰約翰、眾奇之、

王之近臣、告上帝之僕曰、如耶和華破天之隙、可得此、否則不然。曰、爾可目睹、惟不得食。○

耶穌曰、噫、不信之世、我偕爾當幾何時、我忍爾當幾何時乎、且攜子就我、

我雖不信、主無不信、必不食言、

王臣對曰、如耶和華破天之隙、則可得此、否則不然、上帝之僕曰、汝可目睹、惟不得食。

爾信主言必應、則有福矣、○

望誠實上帝、上世之先、所許永生、

及出、不能言、知殿內必有所見、蓋以首示意、而竟瘖矣、○

其中一人曰、明年屆期、我必復至、爾妻撒拉將生子。撒拉在後、於幕門聞此。亞伯拉罕與撒拉俱年邁、撒拉癸水已絕、故竊哂曰、我老矣、我主亦然、豈復有生子之樂乎。耶和華謂亞伯拉罕曰、撒拉曷竊哂歟、何疑年老不生育乎。豈耶和華而有難行之事哉。明年屆期、我必復至、撒拉必生子。撒拉懼而不承、曰、我未嘗哂也。曰、爾實哂。○

耶和華曰、予人以口者誰乎、使人或聾或瘖、或明或瞽者誰乎、非我耶和華乎。

卒、十一門徒坐席間、耶穌顯現、責其不信心忍、以不信見其復生者之言也、○

耶和華諭摩西亞倫曰、汝不信我、不尊我於以色列族前、故不得率斯眾入我所賜之地。

曰、其中若有不信、得毋以不信廢上帝信乎、
