爾必默不能言、以至事成之日、因爾不信我言、而屆時必應也、

同时，我要使你的舌头紧贴上膛，使你不能开口责备他们，因为他们是一群叛逆的人。

上帝绝不说谎，祂将永不改变的应许和誓言给了我们，使我们这些寻找避难所、持定摆在前面之盼望的人可以大得鼓励。

凡我所爱的，我都会责备、管教。因此，你要热心起来，也要悔改。

那时，你必开口向那人说话，不再沉默。你必成为他们的预兆，他们就知道我是耶和华。”

他们便向他父亲打手势，问他要给孩子起什么名字。撒迦利亚就要了一块写字板，写上：“他的名字叫约翰。”大家看了都很惊奇。

一个搀扶王的将领对上帝的仆人说：“即使耶和华打开天上的窗户，也不可能发生这样的事！”以利沙说：“你必亲眼看见，却吃不到。”

耶稣说：“唉，这不信的世代啊！我要跟你们在一起待多久，容忍你们多久呢？把他带到我这里吧。”

我们纵然会失信，祂仍然信实可靠，因为祂不能违背自己。”

但那将领对上帝的仆人说：“即使耶和华打开天上的窗户，也不可能发生这样的事！”上帝的仆人说：“你必亲眼看见，却吃不到。”

相信主所说的话必实现的女子有福了！”

有永生的盼望。这永生是从不说谎的上帝在亘古以前应许的。

后来他出来了，却成了哑巴，不能说话，只能打手势，大家意识到他在圣殿里看见了异象。

其中一人说：“明年这时候，我会再来你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。”这话被站在那人后面帐篷口的撒拉听见了。亚伯拉罕和撒拉已经年纪老迈，撒拉的月经也已经停了。撒拉暗自发笑，心想：“我已经这么老了，还会有这种福气吗？况且我的丈夫也很老了。”耶和华问亚伯拉罕：“撒拉为什么偷笑说，‘我这把年纪还会有孩子吗？’什么事难得住耶和华呢？明年这时候，我会再来你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。”撒拉听见后非常害怕，连忙否认说：“我没有笑！”但耶和华说：“不，你确实笑了。”

耶和华对他说：“是谁造人的口舌？是谁使人变成哑巴或聋子？是谁使人目明或眼瞎？不都是我耶和华吗？

后来，当十一位门徒在一起吃饭的时候，耶稣向他们显现，责备他们又不信又固执，因为他们不肯相信那些人在祂复活后见过祂。

以色列的都城是撒玛利亚，撒玛利亚的首领是利玛利的儿子。你们信心若不坚定，必无法坚立。’”

耶和华对摩西和亚伦说：“你们对我没有足够的信心，没有当着以色列人的面尊我为圣，所以你们不得带领会众进入我将要赐给他们的土地。”

虽然有些人不相信，但那有什么关系呢？难道上帝的信实可靠会因他们的不信而化为无有吗？
