可拉召集全會眾到會幕門口攻擊摩西和亞倫。這時，耶和華的榮光向全會眾顯現。

會眾聚集攻擊摩西、亞倫的時候，摩西和亞倫轉向會幕，看哪，雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮光顯現。

百姓等候撒迦利亞，詫異他在聖所裏遲延那麼久。到他出來，卻不能和他們說話，他們就知道他在聖所裏見了異象；他直向他們打手勢，因為他成了啞巴。

當全會眾正說着要拿石頭打死他們的時候，耶和華的榮光在會幕中向以色列眾人顯現。

因為基督並沒有進了人手所造的聖所－這不過是真聖所的影像－而是進到天上，如今為我們出現在神面前。他也無須多次將自己獻上，像大祭司每年帶着牛羊的血進入至聖所。如果這樣，他從創世以來就必須多次受苦了。但如今，他在今世的末期顯現，僅一次把自己獻為祭，好除掉罪。按着命定，人人都有一死，死後且有審判。同樣，基督既然一次獻上，擔當了許多人的罪，將來要第二次顯現，與罪無關，而是為了拯救熱切等候他的人。
