永恆主呼叫摩西，從會棚中告訴摩西說：『你要告訴以色列人說：你們中間若有人要從牲口中把供物獻與永恆主，就要從牛羣羊羣中帶供物來獻上。『他的供物若是以牛羣中的為燔祭，他就要供獻一隻公的、完全沒有殘疾的，牽到會棚出入處來獻上，好在永恆主面前蒙悅納。他要按手在燔祭牲的頭上、為自己行除罪禮，便蒙悅納。他要在永恆主面前宰小公牛，亞倫子孫做祭司的要將血獻上，將血潑在會棚出入處的祭壇四圍。那人要將燔祭牲的皮剝去，把燔祭牲切成塊子。亞倫子孫做祭司的要把火放在祭壇上，把柴擺在火上；亞倫子孫做祭司的要把切塊和頭跟板油擺在祭壇上之火的柴上；至於燔祭牲的臟腑和腿、卻要用水去洗，祭司就要把這一切全都燻在祭壇上、做燔祭、做怡神香氣之火祭、獻與永恆主。『人的供物若是以羊羣中的為燔祭，無論是用綿羊或山羊，他總要供獻一隻公的、完全沒有殘疾的。他要把羊宰在祭壇的北邊、在永恆主面前；亞倫子孫做祭司的要將羊血潑在祭壇的四圍。那人要把燔祭牲切成塊子；祭司就把切塊、連頭和板油、都擺在祭壇上之火的柴上；至於臟腑和腿、那人卻要用水去洗，祭司就要把這一切全都燻在祭壇上：這是燔祭、是怡神的香氣之火祭獻與永恆主。『人獻給永恆主的供物若以禽鳥中的為燔祭，他就要從斑鳩或雛鴿中帶着他的供物來獻上。祭司要把禽鳥帶到祭壇前，揪下牠的頭來，將鳥燻在祭壇上；牠的血要讓流在祭壇邊。那人要把禽鳥的嗉子和翎毛除掉，丟在祭壇附近東邊、倒灰的地方。他要在翅膀那裏把禽鳥撕裂，可不要完全分開。祭司就要把鳥燻在祭壇上，在壇火上面的柴上燻：這是燔祭，是怡神香氣之火祭、獻與永恆主。

他將燔祭的公綿羊牽來；亞倫和他的兒子們按手在那公綿羊頭上；摩西就宰了牠；把血潑在祭壇的四圍。既把公綿羊切成了塊子，摩西就把頭和切塊跟板油都燻了。用水洗了臟腑和腿之後，摩西就將整個公綿羊燻在祭壇上；這是燔祭、怡神之香氣，是火祭獻與永恆主的：都照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

做丈夫的，你們要愛妻子，正如基督愛了教會；為她捨棄了自己。用水的洗、用話語來潔淨她、好奉獻她為聖；好把教會獻給自己、滿有光彩、沒有污點皺紋等類、乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
