原来，耶和华的意愿是要压伤他，使他受痛楚。当他把自己的性命作为赎罪祭时，他就必看见后裔，并且年日延绵；耶和华所喜悦的必在他手中兴盛。

我儿啊，要把你的心交给我，你的眼目要谨守我的道路！

耶和华宣告：“这一切是我手所造的，这一切就因此存在了。我要看顾这样的人，就是谦卑、灵里痛悔、因我的话语而战兢的人。

神所要的祭物，就是破碎的灵；神哪，破碎、痛悔的心，你必不轻视！

那至高至尊、永远长存、名为至圣者的如此说：“我住在至高至圣的地方，也与灵里痛悔的人和谦卑的人同在，使谦卑的人灵里复苏，使痛悔的人心里复苏。
