“ Tell the Israelites,‘ You must not eat any fat of an ox, sheep, or goat.

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“你们不可吃牛、绵羊或山羊的脂肪。

“ Say to the Israelites:‘ Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, You shall eat no fat, of ox or sheep or goat.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. You must never eat fat, whether from cattle, sheep, or goats.

“ Tell the Israelites: You are not to eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ You shall not eat any fat from an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ You shall not eat any fat, of ox or sheep or goat.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no fat, of ox, or sheep, or goat.

“ Tell the Israelites: You are not to eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat.

Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a food gift for a soothing aroma– all the fat belongs to the LORD.This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.’”

who ate the best of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise and help you; let them be your refuge!

“‘ Then he must take up all the fat from the sin offering bull: the fat covering the entrails and all the fat surrounding the entrails,the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver( which he is to remove along with the kidneys)– just as it is taken from the ox of the peace offering sacrifice– and the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.

Why are you scorning my sacrifice and my offering that I commanded for my dwelling place? You have honored your sons more than you have me by having made yourselves fat from the best parts of all the offerings of my people Israel.’

Even before they burned the fat, the priest’s attendant would come and say to the person who was making the sacrifice,“ Hand over some meat for the priest to roast! He won’t take boiled meat from you, but only raw.”If the individual said to him,“ First let the fat be burned away, and then take for yourself whatever you wish,” he would say,“ No! Hand it over right now! If you don’t, I will take it forcibly!”The sin of these young men was very great in the LORD’s sight, for they treated the LORD’s offering with contempt.

For the heart of this people has become dull, and their ears are hard of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.”’

Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.

( for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live.

The priest is to splash the blood on the altar of the LORD at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and offer the fat up in smoke for a soothing aroma to the LORD.
