“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ You shall not eat any fat from an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

“你要吩咐以色列人说：牛、绵羊、山羊的脂肪，你们都不可吃。

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“你们不可吃牛、绵羊或山羊的脂肪。

“你要告诉以色列人说：所有公牛、绵羊或是山羊的脂肪，你们都不可吃。

「你曉諭以色列人說：牛的脂油、綿羊的脂油、山羊的脂油，你們都不可吃。

爾告以色列人云、凡牛脂、綿羊脂、山羊脂、皆不可食、

“ Say to the Israelites:‘ Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, You shall eat no fat, of ox or sheep or goat.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. You must never eat fat, whether from cattle, sheep, or goats.

“ Tell the Israelites: You are not to eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ You shall not eat any fat, of ox or sheep or goat.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no fat, of ox, or sheep, or goat.

“ Tell the Israelites: You are not to eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.

“ Tell the Israelites,‘ You must not eat any fat of an ox, sheep, or goat.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat.

The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma; all fat is the Lord’s.It is a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.’ ”

Those who ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be your protection!

And he shall remove from it all the fat of the bull of the sin offering: the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat which is on the entrails,and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys( just as it is removed from the ox of the sacrifice of peace offerings); and the priest is to offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.

Why are you showing contempt for My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded for My dwelling, and why are you honoring your sons above Me, by making yourselves fat with the choicest of every offering of My people Israel?’

Also, before they burned the fat, the priest’s servant would come and say to the man who was sacrificing,“ Give the priest meat for roasting, as he will not take cooked meat from you, only raw.”And if the man said to him,“ They must burn the fat first, then take as much as you desire,” then he would say,“ No, but you must give it to me now; and if not, I am taking it by force!”And so the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord, for the men treated the offering of the Lord disrespectfully.

For the hearts of this people have become insensitive, And with their ears they hardly hear, And they have closed their eyes; Otherwise they might see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.” ’

Let’s behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and debauchery, not in strife and jealousy.

for if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and offer up the fat in smoke as a soothing aroma to the Lord.
