作為萬物的歸宿和根源的上帝，叫救恩的元帥耶穌經歷苦難而得以純全，以便帶領許多的兒女進入榮耀，這樣的安排是恰當的。

他要在耶和華面前宰牛，然後祭司——亞倫的子孫要把牛血灑在會幕門口的祭壇四周。

耶和華樂意使祂的律法尊大而榮耀，因為祂行事公義。

祭司要把鳥帶到祭壇前，擰下鳥頭，放在祭壇上焚燒；要在祭壇旁放盡鳥血；

還有新約的中保耶穌和祂所流的血。這血比亞伯的血發出更美的信息。

要在殺燔祭牲的地方宰贖過祭祭牲，祭牲的血要灑在祭壇周圍。
