“ If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.

若有人誤犯主誡命之一、行所不可行者、己不知之、於是有愆、陷於罪中、

“ If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible.

“ Suppose someone sins by doing something I command them not to do. Even though they do not know it, they are guilty. They will be held responsible for it.

“ If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord’s commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity.

“ Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin.

“ If someone sins and without knowing it violates any of the LORD’s commands concerning anything prohibited, he is guilty, and he will bear his iniquity.

“ Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.

And if any one sin, and do any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done; though he knew it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

“ If someone sins and without knowing it violates any of the Lord’s commands concerning anything prohibited, he bears the consequences of his guilt.

And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist[ it] not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

“ If a person sins and violates any of the Lord’s commandments which must not be violated( although he did not know it at the time, but later realizes he is guilty), then he will bear his punishment for iniquity

‘ If anyone of the common people sins unintentionally by doing something against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which ought not to be done, and is guilty,

‘ Now if the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which should not be done, and are guilty;

“ If a person commits a trespass, and sins unintentionally in regard to the holy things of the Lord, then he shall bring to the Lord as his trespass offering a ram without blemish from the flocks, with your valuation in shekels of silver according to the shekel of the sanctuary, as a trespass offering.

But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

‘ If a person sins in hearing the utterance of an oath, and is a witness, whether he has seen or known of the matter— if he does not tell it, he bears guilt.‘ Or if a person touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and he is unaware of it, he also shall be unclean and guilty.

Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.

‘ When a ruler has sinned, and done something unintentionally against any of the commandments of the Lord his God in anything which should not be done, and is guilty,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them,if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without blemish as a sin offering.He shall bring the bull to the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, lay his hand on the bull’s head, and kill the bull before the Lord.

But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
