and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.

and he shall put them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a man that is in readiness into the wilderness:and the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a solitary land: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.And Aaron shall come into the tent of meeting, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:and he shall bathe his flesh in water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt- offering and the burnt- offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.And the fat of the sin- offering shall he burn upon the altar.And he that letteth go the goat for Azazel shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.And the bullock of the sin- offering, and the goat of the sin- offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall be carried forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.And it shall be a statute for ever unto you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and shall do no manner of work, the home- born, or the stranger that sojourneth among you:for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins shall ye be clean before Jehovah.It is a sabbath of solemn rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls; it is a statute for ever.And the priest, who shall be anointed and who shall be consecrated to be priest in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments:and he shall make atonement for the holy sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the tent of meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make atonement for the children of Israel because of all their sins once in the year. And he did as Jehovah commanded Moses.

And if her means suffice not for a lamb, then she shall take two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons; the one for a burnt- offering, and the other for a sin- offering: and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: for peradventure for the good man some one would even dare to die.But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath of God through him.For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

and the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah; and he shall be forgiven concerning whatsoever he doeth so as to be guilty thereby.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin- offering, and thy burnt- offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them; as Jehovah commanded.
