倘若不能為自己得回所賣的，仍要存在買主的手裏直到禧年；到了禧年，地業要出買主的手，自己便歸回自己的地業。

但房屋在無城牆的村莊裏，要看如鄉下的田地一樣，可以贖回；到了禧年，都要出買主的手。

這城和其中所有的都要在耶和華面前毀滅；只有妓女喇合與她家中所有的可以存活，因為她隱藏了我們所打發的使者。

凡不遵首領和長老所議定、三日之內不來的，就必抄他的家，使他離開被擄歸回之人的會。

那當毀滅的物連一點都不可粘你的手。你要聽從耶和華－你神的話，遵守我今日所吩咐你的一切誡命，行耶和華－你神眼中看為正的事，耶和華就必轉意，不發烈怒，恩待你，憐恤你，照他向你列祖所起的誓使你人數增多。」

「但一切永獻的，就是人從他所有永獻給耶和華的，無論是人，是牲畜，是他承受為業的地，都不可賣，也不可贖。凡永獻的是歸給耶和華為至聖。凡從人中當滅的都不可贖，必被治死。」
