“‘ If a man consecrates to the LORD some of his own landed property, the conversion value must be calculated in accordance with the amount of seed needed to sow it, a homer of barley seed being priced at fifty shekels of silver.

若祖遺之田畝、區別為聖獻於主、則當視可播種之多寡而估其價、可播大麥種一賀梅珥、約一石估價五十舍客勒、

“‘ If anyone dedicates to the Lord part of their family land, its value is to be set according to the amount of seed required for it— fifty shekels of silver to a homer of barley seed.

“‘ Suppose someone sets apart a piece of their family’s land to the Lord. Then here is how its value must be decided. It must be based on the number of seeds that are required to grow a full crop on it. That value will be 20 ounces of silver for every 300 pounds of barley seeds.

“ If a man dedicates to the Lord part of the land that is his possession, then the valuation shall be in proportion to its seed. A homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

“ If someone dedicates to the Lord a piece of his family property, its value will be assessed according to the amount of seed required to plant it— fifty shekels of silver for a field planted with five bushels of barley seed.

“ If a man consecrates to the LORD any part of a field that he possesses, your assessment of value will be proportional to the seed needed to sow it, at the rate of fifty silver shekels for every six bushels of barley seed.

‘ Again, if someone consecrates to the Lord part of the field of his own property, then your assessment shall be proportionate to the seed needed for it: a homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver.

‘ If a man dedicates to the Lord part of a field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it. A homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

And if a man shall sanctify unto Jehovah part of the field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the sowing thereof: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

“ If a man consecrates to the Lord any part of a field that he possesses, your assessment of value will be proportional to the seed needed to sow it, at the rate of 50 silver shekels for every five bushels of barley seed.

And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD[ some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed[ shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.

“‘ If a man dedicates to Yahweh part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it. The sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

Before it was sold, did it not belong to you? And when it was sold, was the money not at your disposal? How have you thought up this deed in your heart? You have not lied to people but to God!”

For there was no one needy among them, because those who were owners of land or houses were selling them and bringing the proceeds from the salesand placing them at the apostles’ feet. The proceeds were distributed to each, as anyone had need.So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas( which is translated“ son of encouragement”),sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

Indeed, a large vineyard will produce just a few gallons, and enough seed to yield several bushels will produce less than a bushel.”

So I paid fifteen shekels of silver and about seven bushels of barley to purchase her.

The dry and liquid measures will be the same, the bath will contain a tenth of a homer, and the ephah a tenth of a homer; the homer will be the standard measure.The shekel will be twenty gerahs. Sixty shekels will be a mina for you.“‘ This is the offering you must offer: a sixth of an ephah from a homer of wheat; a sixth of an ephah from a homer of barley,and as the prescribed portion of olive oil, one tenth of a bath from each kor( which is ten baths or a homer, for ten baths make a homer);
