我依其逆行、散之於敵國、後若其剛愎之心、剛愎之心或作不淨之心自卑以服罪、

which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies— then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin,

What you did made me become your enemy. I let your enemies take you into their land. But suppose you stop being stubborn. You stop being proud. And you pay for your sin.

猶大人及耶路撒冷居民歟、宜對耶和華自潔、祛除爾心之污、免我因爾所行之惡、發怒如火炎炎、無能撲滅、

王與牧伯自卑曰、耶和華乃義、耶和華見其自卑、則諭示瑪雅曰、彼既自卑、我不滅之、必稍施拯救、不藉示撒手、洩我怒於耶路撒冷、

我將與誰言以警之、使之聞乎、其耳未潔、致不能聽、耶和華之言、彼視為辱、不以為悅、

爾上帝耶和華必制爾情欲、爰及子孫、使一心一意愛爾上帝耶和華、致得生存、

且於彼受割、非以手者、乃由基督之割、而革情欲之身、○

蓋我儕以上帝之神而崇拜、於基督耶穌而誇、不恃乎形軀、是乃受割者也、

亞哈自卑於我前、爾見之乎、緣此、於彼尚存之日、我不降災、迨其子時、乃降災於其家、

然希西家抑其驕心、與耶路撒冷居民自卑、故希西家存日、耶和華之怒未及之、

在彼爾將追憶所行自污之事、且緣所為諸惡、自怨自恨、

既遭患難、則求其上帝耶和華、在其列祖之上帝前、自卑維甚、禱耶和華、蒙其垂聽、而允所求、使返耶路撒冷、復其國位、瑪拿西始知耶和華為上帝、○

惟彼賜尤大之恩、故曰、上帝拒驕傲者、賜恩於謙卑者、是以爾宜服於上帝、惟禦魔、魔則遁、近上帝、上帝則近爾、干罪者淨乃手、二心者潔乃心、宜負苦悲泣、易笑為哀、易樂為憂、

主歟、惟爾為義、我則蒙羞、有如今日、猶大人、耶路撒冷居民、及以色列眾、因其獲罪於爾、或遠或近、被驅至於諸國、主歟、我與我之君王、牧伯列祖、因獲罪於爾、俱蒙羞恥、我主我上帝、恆懷矜憫赦宥、而我儕悖逆之、不聽我上帝耶和華之言、不行爾藉爾僕諸先知所示我之法律、以色列全族干犯爾律、轉而離爾、不聽爾言、故上帝僕摩西律中、所載之呪詛誓詞、臨於我躬、以我獲罪於上帝也、彼對我儕、及鞫我之士師所言者、今則成之、而降大災於我、耶路撒冷所遘之災、天下未嘗遭焉、斯災臨我、乃依摩西律中所載、而我猶不求恩於我上帝耶和華、棄離我之罪愆、洞悉爾之真道、故耶和華顧視、而降此災於我、蓋我上帝耶和華所行、無不公義、惟我不聽其言、

不效其父瑪拿西自卑於耶和華前、干罪愈甚、

以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾乃公義、我儕為逃脫之遺民、咸負罪戾、有如今日、因此、莫能立於爾前、

我默然緘口、以我所遇、乃爾所為兮、

我上帝歟、求爾傾耳而聽、啟目視我荒蕪之區、及以爾名而稱之邑、我陳所祈於爾前、非因己義、乃因爾之鴻慈也、主歟、聽之、主歟、宥之、主歟、俯聽而施行之、我上帝歟、為爾之故、勿延緩、蓋斯邑斯民、俱以爾名而稱也、○

幼宜服長、爾曹謙以自束、互相服役、蓋上帝拒驕泰者、賜恩卑遜者、故於上帝大能之下、爾當自卑、俾得屆期擢爾、

蓋顯為猶太人者、非猶太人、顯於身之割、非割也、惟隱為猶太人者、誠猶太人、受於心之割、乃割也、在性靈不在儀文、其稱譽也、非由人、乃由上帝、

所加於我、爾無不義、爾所行惟誠、我所行惟惡、

我緣惡行大罪、遭斯諸事、而爾我之上帝加罰、較之我罪維輕、且以若許遺民賜我、

蓋我自知己過、我罪恆在目前兮、我惟獲罪於爾、行爾所惡、致爾出詞顯公義、行鞫顯清正兮、

其祈禱與蒙允、及其罪過、並未自卑以前、築崇邱、立木偶、設雕像之處、俱載於何賽之書、

我語汝、此人歸、較彼見義、蓋自高者、將卑之、自卑者、將高之也、○

因王自卑、耶和華之怒遂息、不加殄滅、且在猶大中、尚有善事存焉、
