“‘ If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands,

So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today— to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul—then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil.I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied. (niv)

If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; (niv)

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock— the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him.Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you.The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity— in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground— in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. (niv)

You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the Lord your God.Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord. (niv)

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. (niv)

“ Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. (niv)

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. (niv)

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices.“ If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways,how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes!Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” (niv)

The angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bokim and said,“ I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land I swore to give to your ancestors. I said,‘ I will never break my covenant with you,and you shall not make a covenant with the people of this land, but you shall break down their altars.’ Yet you have disobeyed me. Why have you done this? (niv)

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well- being like the waves of the sea.Your descendants would have been like the sand, your children like its numberless grains; their name would never be blotted out nor destroyed from before me.” (niv)

“ Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.But just as all the good things the Lord your God has promised you have come to you, so he will bring on you all the evil things he has threatened, until the Lord your God has destroyed you from this good land he has given you. (niv)

If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors. (niv)
