And if by these things ye will not be reformed unto me, but will walk contrary unto me;

“但如果你们经过这些事仍然不归向我，行事仍与我的心意相违，

「如果你們還是與我作對，

“但如果你們經過這些事仍然不歸向我，行事仍與我的心意相違，

『經了這些事、你們若不接受管教而歸向我，行事反而跟我作對，

爾猶不悛、所行逆我、

爾猶不順受譴責、所行逆我、

至此爾猶不受責服我、仍逆我以行、

“‘ If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me,

“‘ After all those things, suppose you still do not accept my warnings. And suppose you continue to be my enemy.

“ And if by this discipline you are not turned to me but walk contrary to me,

“ And if you fail to learn the lesson and continue your hostility toward me,

“ If in spite of these things you do not accept my discipline, but act with hostility toward me,

‘ And if by these things you do not learn your lesson regarding Me, but you show hostility toward Me,

‘ And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,

“ If in spite of these things you do not accept My discipline, but act with hostility toward Me,

And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

“‘ If in spite of these things you do not allow yourselves to be disciplined and you walk in hostility against me,

“‘ If by these things you won’t be turned back to me, but will walk contrary to me,

O Jehovah, do not thine eyes look upon truth? thou hast stricken them, but they were not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places; yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.And I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.So two or three cities wandered unto one city to drink water, and were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: the multitude of your gardens and your vineyards and your fig- trees and your olive- trees hath the palmer- worm devoured: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have carried away your horses; and I have made the stench of your camp to come up even into your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.I have overthrown cities among you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a brand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel; and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken it.

And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed thee and thou wast not cleansed, thou shalt not be cleansed from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my wrath toward thee to rest.I, Jehovah, have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
