You may ask,“ What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?”

But if you say,“ What are we going to eat in the seventh year if we do not sow nor gather in our produce?”

‘ And if you say,“ What shall we eat in the seventh year, since we shall not sow nor gather in our produce?”

And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase;

Don’t seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious.

but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to Yahweh. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard.

He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

When the servant of the man of God had risen early, and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. His servant said to him,“ Alas, my master! What shall we do?”He answered,“ Don’t be afraid; for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”Elisha prayed, and said,“ Yahweh, please open his eyes, that he may see.” Yahweh opened the young man’s eyes; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?“ Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin,yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?“ Therefore don’t be anxious, saying,‘ What will we eat?’,‘ What will we drink?’ or,‘ With what will we be clothed?’For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.

The mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly; and the children of Israel also wept again, and said,“ Who will give us meat to eat?

Where could I get meat to give all these people? For they weep before me, saying,‘ Give us meat, that we may eat.’

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said,“ I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”So that with good courage we say,“ The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said,“ Behold, if Yahweh made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” He said,“ Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”
