彼必經歷斯地、經歷斯地或作飄流國中遭困苦、受饑餓、饑餓之時、必生忿怒、咒詛其君及其神、仰觀於上、俯視於地、隨在艱難黑暗、困苦晦冥、自覺見逐於陰晦之中、

乃賄人使流言云、我聞此人出言褻瀆摩西及天主、又聳動百姓與長老及經士、突來執之、曳至公會、設妄證者曰、此人褻瀆聖所與律法不已、

爾毀謗誰、褻瀆誰、揚爾聲、高爾目、欲攻誰耶、乃攻以色列之聖者、

又有大雹自天降於人、每重一他連得、一他連得約一千二百三十兩人咸受雹災、且因災甚、遂謗讟天主、

天主名緣爾曹受謗讟於異邦人中、如經所載矣、○

然爾之為此、使主之敵得毀謗之由、故爾所得之子必死、

求天主興起、以理切己之事、莫忘頑民終日毀謗主、

使匪類二人對拿伯而坐、作證訟之曰、爾詛神與王、遂曳之出、以石擊之死、

其妻謂之曰、爾猶持守爾善乎、莫若詛詛或作毀謗天主而死、約百謂之曰、爾言如愚婦之言、天主賜福、我儕則受、天主降禍、我儕則不受乎、約百雖遇此、猶不以言犯罪、

當如是告猶大王希西家曰、爾勿為爾恃之神所惑、自言耶路撒冷必不至陷於亞述王手、

我列祖所滅諸國、何國之神、能救其民脫於我手、獨爾之神、能救爾脫於我手乎、勿為希西家所誑所誘、勿信其言、蓋無一國一民之神、曾救其民於我、及我列祖之手、則爾之神必不能救爾於我手、西拿基立之臣僕、更有言侮謗主天主及其僕希西家、西拿基立致書、謗讟主以色列之天主、訕之曰、列邦之神、未救其民脫於我手、希西家之神、亦不能救其民脫於我手、

大祭司遂自裂其衣曰、其人褻瀆、何用他證、今爾已聞其褻瀆、

我昔為毀謗者、窘逐者、侮慢者、但此因在不信之時、無知而作、故猶蒙矜恤、

遇之者解之至摩西亞倫與會眾前、囚之於獄、因尚未擬定何以處治、主諭摩西曰、其人必當治死、會眾當於營外擊之以石、

勿聽希西家使爾恃主之言、彼曰、主必救我、此城不至陷於亞述王手、

敵人謗瀆主、頑民褻慢主名、求主莫忘、
