“ Say to the Israelites:‘ On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days.

“ Say to the Israelites,‘ On the 15th day of the seventh month the Lord’ s Feast of Booths begins. It lasts for seven days.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month and for seven days is the Feast of Booths to the Lord.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. Begin celebrating the Festival of Shelters on the fifteenth day of the appointed month— five days after the Day of Atonement. This festival to the Lord will last for seven days.

“ Tell the Israelites: The Festival of Shelters to the LORD begins on the fifteenth day of this seventh month and continues for seven days.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the Lord.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Jehovah.

“ Tell the Israelites: The Festival of Booths to the Lord begins on the fifteenth day of this seventh month and continues for seven days.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month[ shall be] the feast of tabernacles[ for] seven days unto the LORD.

“ Tell the Israelites,‘ On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Temporary Shelters for seven days to the LORD.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say,‘ On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of booths for seven days to Yahweh.

But when the Jewish Festival of Tabernacles was near, (niv)

They found written in the Law, which the Lord had commanded through Moses, that the Israelites were to live in temporary shelters during the festival of the seventh month (niv)

Then in accordance with what is written, they celebrated the Festival of Tabernacles with the required number of burnt offerings prescribed for each day. (niv)

“‘ On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. Celebrate a festival to the Lord for seven days. (niv)

“ Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year. (niv)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (niv)

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. “ Celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field.“ Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field. (niv)

Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress.Be joyful at your festival— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete. (niv)

By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. (niv)

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. (niv)
