“‘ When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.’”

“‘ Suppose you are gathering your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the grain you missed. Leave some for the poor people and the outsiders who live among you. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

你和你儿女、仆婢，并住在你城里的利未人，以及在你们中间寄居的与孤儿寡妇，都要在耶和华你神所选择立为他名的居所，在耶和华你的神面前欢乐。你也要记念你在埃及作过奴仆。你要谨守遵行这些律例。”“你把禾场的谷、酒榨的酒收藏以后，就要守住棚节七日。守节的时候，你和你儿女、仆婢，并住在你城里的利未人，以及寄居的与孤儿寡妇，都要欢乐。

她起来又拾取麦穗，波阿斯吩咐仆人说：“她就是在捆中拾取麦穗，也可以容她，不可羞辱她；并要从捆里抽出些来，留在地下任她拾取，不可叱吓她。”这样，路得在田间拾取麦穗，直到晚上，将所拾取的打了，约有一伊法大麦。她就把所拾取的带进城去给婆婆看，又把她吃饱了所剩的给了婆婆。婆婆问她说：“你今日在哪里拾取麦穗，在哪里做工呢？愿那顾恤你的得福。”路得就告诉婆婆说：“我今日在一个名叫波阿斯的人那里做工。”拿俄米对儿妇说：“愿那人蒙耶和华赐福，因为他不断地恩待活人死人。”拿俄米又说：“那是我们本族的人，是一个至近的亲属。”摩押女子路得说：“他对我说：‘你要紧随我的仆人拾取麦穗，直等他们收完了我的庄稼。’”拿俄米对儿妇路得说：“女儿啊，你跟着他的使女出去，不叫人遇见你在别人田间，这才为好。”于是路得与波阿斯的使女常在一处拾取麦穗，直到收完了大麦和小麦。路得仍与婆婆同住。

路得就去了，来到田间，在收割的人身后拾取麦穗。她恰巧到了以利米勒本族的人波阿斯那块田里。波阿斯正从伯利恒来，对收割的人说：“愿耶和华与你们同在！”他们回答说：“愿耶和华赐福与你！”波阿斯问监管收割的仆人说：“那是谁家的女子？”监管收割的仆人回答说：“是那摩押女子，跟随拿俄米从摩押地回来的。她说：‘请你容我跟着收割的人拾取打捆剩下的麦穗。’她从早晨直到如今，除了在屋子里坐一会儿，常在这里。”

因此，我想不得不求那几位弟兄先到你们那里去，把从前所应许的捐资预备妥当，就显出你们所捐的是出于乐意，不是出于勉强。“少种的少收，多种的多收”，这话是真的。各人要随本心所酌定的，不要作难，不要勉强，因为捐得乐意的人是神所喜爱的。神能将各样的恩惠多多地加给你们，使你们凡事常常充足，能多行各样善事。如经上所记：“他施舍钱财，周济贫穷；他的仁义存到永远。”那赐种给撒种的，赐粮给人吃的，必多多加给你们种地的种子，又增添你们仁义的果子；叫你们凡事富足，可以多多施舍，就藉着我们使感谢归于神。因为办这供给的事，不但补圣徒的缺乏，而且叫许多人越发感谢神。

有施散的，却更增添；有吝惜过度的，反致穷乏。好施舍的，必得丰裕；滋润人的，必得滋润。

不是要把你的饼分给饥饿的人，将飘流的穷人接到你家中，见赤身的给他衣服遮体，顾恤自己的骨肉而不掩藏吗？这样，你的光就必发现如早晨的光；你所得的医治要速速发明。你的公义必在你前面行；耶和华的荣光必作你的后盾。

“我若不容贫寒人得其所愿，或叫寡妇眼中失望，或独自吃我一点食物，孤儿没有与我同吃；从幼年时孤儿与我同长，好像父子一样；我从出母腹就扶助寡妇。）我若见人因无衣死亡，或见穷乏人身无遮盖；我若不使他因我羊的毛得暖，为我祝福；我若在城门口见有帮助我的，举手攻击孤儿；

眷顾贫穷的有福了！他遭难的日子，耶和华必搭救他。耶和华必保全他，使他存活；他必在地上享福。求你不要把他交给仇敌，遂其所愿。他病重在榻，耶和华必扶持他；他在病中，你必给他铺床。

你心若向饥饿的人发怜悯，使困苦的人得满足，你的光就必在黑暗中发现；你的幽暗必变如正午。

他施舍钱财，周济贫穷；他的仁义存到永远。他的角必被高举，大有荣耀。

只要把里面的施舍给人，凡物于你们就都洁净了。
