You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

You must not eat any bread until the day you bring your offering to the Lord your God. You must not eat any cooked grain or any of your first grain until that time. This is a law that will last for all time to come. It applies no matter where you live.

And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

亞伯也將他羊羣中頭生的和羊的脂油獻上。耶和華看中了亞伯和他的供物，只是看不中該隱和他的供物。該隱就大大地發怒，變了臉色。

又使他們知道你的安息聖日，並藉你僕人摩西傳給他們誡命、條例、律法。

你們要用初熟的麥子磨麵，做餅當舉祭奉獻；你們舉上，好像舉禾場的舉祭一樣。你們世世代代要用初熟的麥子磨麵，當舉祭獻給耶和華。

在你們一切的住處，脂油和血都不可吃；這要成為你們世世代代永遠的定例。」

「你們到了迦南地，栽種各樣結果子的樹木，就要以所結的果子如未受割禮的一樣。三年之久，你們要以這些果子，如未受割禮的，是不可吃的。但第四年所結的果子全要成為聖，用以讚美耶和華。第五年，你們要吃那樹上的果子，好叫樹給你們結果子更多。我是耶和華－你們的神。

逾越節的次日，他們就吃了那地的出產；正當那日吃無酵餅和烘的穀。他們吃了那地的出產，第二日嗎哪就止住了，以色列人也不再有嗎哪了。那一年，他們卻吃迦南地的出產。

又使你們可以將耶和華藉摩西曉諭以色列人的一切律例教訓他們。」
