我必嚴懲那人一家，從民中剷除他和那些追隨他與摩洛苟合的人。

我必怒之、與其眷屬、及凡狥欲從摩洛者、絕之民中、

我必罰之、及其眷聚、凡縱私欲奉摩洛、效彼為非者、絕之民中。

我必向彼及其眷屬震怒、將彼及凡效其妄為行邪拜摩洛者、悉絕之於民中、

I myself will set my face against him and his family and will cut them off from their people together with all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molek.

Then I will turn against that man and his family. I will separate them from their people. I will also separate all those who follow him by joining themselves to Molek. They are not faithful to me.

我要懲罰她，因為她在節日向巴力燒香。那時她戴耳環佩首飾，追逐她的情人，把我忘記。這是耶和華說的。

他們不可再獻祭物給山羊神，與其苟合。這是一條永遠不變的律例，他們世世代代都要遵守。

「任何以色列人或寄居在以色列人中間的外族人若吃血，耶和華必嚴懲，把他從民中剷除。

他們的行為玷污了自己，使自己淪為淫婦。

「你舉目看看那些光禿的高山，哪裡沒有被你玷污過呢？你坐在路旁等候情郎，就像曠野的遊牧者，你的淫亂惡行玷污了土地。

我要使他們永遠全心全意地敬畏我，使他們和子孫得到福樂。

看啊，我要把這城交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒和他率領的迦勒底人手中，讓他們攻取這城。這是耶和華說的。他們必放火焚城，把城中的房屋付之一炬，城中的居民曾在房頂上向巴力燒香、向假神奠酒，惹我發怒。以色列人和猶大人從一開始就行我視為惡的事，他們的所作所為惹我發怒。這是耶和華說的。這城自從建立以來一直惹我發怒，以致我不得不毀滅它。以色列和猶大的君王、首領、祭司、先知、百姓和耶路撒冷居民的惡行令我怒不可遏。他們不是面向我而是背對我，我不厭其煩地教導他們，他們卻不肯聽，不受教。他們把可憎的神像放在我的殿中，玷污了我的殿；他們在欣嫩子谷為巴力建邱壇，用自己的兒女作祭物獻給摩洛，使猶大陷入罪中——我從未吩咐他們做如此邪惡的事，連想都沒想過。

不可跪拜它們，也不可供奉它們，因為我——你的上帝耶和華痛恨不貞，我必追討背棄我之人的罪，從父到子直到三四代。

他們的母親淫亂放蕩，厚顏無恥，她說，『我要跟隨我的情人，他們給我食物和水、羊毛和麻布、油和酒。』
