“‘ Do not go about spreading slander among your people.“‘ Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the Lord.

“‘ Do not go around spreading lies among your people.“‘ Do not do anything that puts your neighbor’s life in danger. I am the Lord.

You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord.

“ Do not spread slanderous gossip among your people.“ Do not stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is threatened. I am the Lord.

Do not go about spreading slander among your people; do not jeopardize your neighbor’s life; I am the LORD.

You shall not go about as a slanderer among your people; and you are not to jeopardize the life of your neighbor. I am the Lord.

You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord.

Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am Jehovah.

往来传舌的，泄漏密事；大张嘴的，不可与他结交。 (cunps)

又叫两个匪徒坐在拿伯对面，作见证告他说：‘你谤渎神和王了’；随后就把他拉出去用石头打死。”那些与拿伯同城居住的长老贵胄得了耶洗别的信，就照信而行，宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民间的高位上。有两个匪徒来，坐在拿伯的对面，当着众民作见证告他说：“拿伯谤渎神和王了！”众人就把他拉到城外，用石头打死。 (cunps)

他不以舌头谗谤人，不恶待朋友，也不随伙毁谤邻里。 (cunps)

往来传舌的，泄漏密事；心中诚实的，遮隐事情。 (cunps)

他们都是极悖逆的，往来谗谤人。他们是铜是铁，都行坏事。 (cunps)

你们各人当谨防邻舍，不可信靠弟兄；因为弟兄尽行欺骗，邻舍都往来谗谤人。 (cunps)

就买出人来说：“我们听见他说谤讟摩西和神的话。”他们又耸动了百姓、长老，并文士，就忽然来捉拿他，把他带到公会去，设下假见证，说：“这个人说话，不住地糟践圣所和律法。 (cunps)

“不可作假见证陷害人。 (cunps)

所以，你们既除去一切的恶毒、诡诈，并假善、嫉妒，和一切毁谤的话， (cunps)

虽有好些人来作假见证，总得不着实据。末后有两个人前来，说：“这个人曾说：‘我能拆毁神的殿，三日内又建造起来。’” (cunps)

惟恐多说，你嫌烦絮，只求你宽容听我们说几句话。我们看这个人，如同瘟疫一般，是鼓动普天下众犹太人生乱的，又是拿撒勒教党里的一个头目，连圣殿他也想要污秽；我们把他捉住了。 (cunps)

无亲情，不解怨，好说谗言，不能自约，性情凶暴，不爱良善， (cunps)

女执事也是如此：必须端庄，不说谗言，有节制，凡事忠心。 (cunps)

“我卖了无辜之人的血是有罪了。”他们说：“那与我们有什么相干？你自己承当吧！” (cunps)

又劝老年妇人，举止行动要恭敬，不说谗言，不给酒作奴仆，用善道教训人， (cunps)
