He is to put on the sacred linen tunic, with linen undergarments next to his body; he is to tie the linen sash around him and put on the linen turban. These are sacred garments; so he must bathe himself with water before he puts them on.

He must put on the sacred inner robe made out of linen. He must wear linen underwear next to his body. He must tie the linen belt around him. And he must put the linen turban on his head. Those are sacred clothes. So he must take a bath before he puts them on.

He shall put on the holy linen coat and shall have the linen undergarment on his body, and he shall tie the linen sash around his waist, and wear the linen turban; these are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water and then put them on.

「要用雜色的細麻線織成祭司的內袍，用細麻布做禮冠，腰帶上要有刺繡，也要為亞倫的兒子們縫製內袍、腰帶、帽子，顯出他們職位的榮耀和尊貴。你哥哥亞倫及其眾子穿上這些衣服後，你要用油膏立他們，使他們分別出來，做聖潔的祭司事奉我。「要用細麻布為他們做褲子，以遮蓋下體，褲子要從腰部到大腿。亞倫父子們進出會幕或到聖所的祭壇事奉的時候，都要穿上褲子，免得因為觸犯聖禮而死亡。這是亞倫及其子孫永遠當遵守的條例。

他們從內院的門進入殿內供職的時候，要穿細麻布衣服，不可穿羊毛衣服。他們要戴細麻布頭巾，穿細麻布褲子，不可穿使人容易出汗的衣服。

他們進會幕或在壇上獻火祭之前，一定要自潔才可以供職，免得死亡。

早晨，祭司要穿上細麻衣袍和內衣，將燔祭壇上的灰燼清理好，放在祭壇旁邊。

他用細麻布為亞倫父子們縫製內袍、禮冠、頭巾和褲子，還用細麻線和藍色、紫色、朱紅色的線繡製腰帶。這是照耶和華對摩西的吩咐做的。

我們所需要的，正是這樣一位聖潔無瑕、良善純全、遠離罪惡、超越諸天的大祭司。

他把亞倫父子們帶來，用水洗他們。摩西給亞倫穿上內袍，束上腰帶，穿上外袍，套上以弗得，用精巧的帶子把以弗得繫在亞倫身上，

他要在聖潔之處沐浴，穿上平時的衣服出去為自己和民眾獻燔祭，為自己和民眾贖罪。

你要為你哥哥亞倫做一件聖衣，顯出他職位的榮耀和尊貴。

因為眾兒女都是血肉之軀，所以祂也同樣取了血肉之軀，為要親身經歷死亡，藉此摧毀掌握死亡權勢的魔鬼，

祂像嫩芽一樣在耶和華面前長大，像生長在旱地裡的根。祂沒有軒昂俊美的外表可以吸引我們，沒有令我們羡慕的容貌。

摩西、亞倫及其眾子都在那裡清洗手腳，他們進會幕或走近祭壇的時候，都要先清洗，都遵照耶和華的吩咐。

你要先讓亞倫父子們在會幕門前沐浴，

天使回答說：「聖靈要臨到你身上，至高者的能力要蔭庇你，所以你要生的那聖嬰必稱為上帝的兒子。

要把亞倫父子們叫到會幕入口，用水為他們沐浴，

祂潔淨了我們被罪困擾的良心，用清水洗淨了我們的身體。因此，我們要信心十足、真誠地到上帝面前。

反而甘願放下一切，取了奴僕的形像，降生為人的樣子。
