He is to put on the sacred linen tunic, with linen undergarments next to his body; he is to tie the linen sash around him and put on the linen turban. These are sacred garments; so he must bathe himself with water before he puts them on.

And it shall be that, when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.They shall have linen tires upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with anything that causeth sweat.

when they go into the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh; and he shall take up the ashes whereto the fire hath consumed the burnt- offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

And they made the coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,and the mitre of fine linen, and the goodly head- tires of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twined linen,and the girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, the work of the embroiderer; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.

and he shall bathe his flesh in water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt- offering and the burnt- offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.

Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat;when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God.
