亚伦进入圣所时要带一头公牛犊作赎罪祭，一只公绵羊作燔祭。他要穿上细麻布的圣内袍，也要把细麻布的裤子穿在身上，腰束细麻布的带子，头戴细麻布礼冠；这些就是圣衣。他要先用水洗身，然后才穿上圣衣。他要从以色列的会众中，取两只公山羊作赎罪祭，一只公绵羊作燔祭。

所以，弟兄们！我们凭着耶稣的血，可以坦然无惧地进入至圣所。这进入的路，是他给我们开辟的，是一条通过幔子、又新又活的路，这幔子就是他的身体。我们既然有一位伟大的祭司治理神的家，我们良心的邪恶既然被洒净，身体也用清水洗净了，那么，我们就应该怀着真诚的心和完备的信，进到神面前；

这些只是关于饮食和各样洁净的礼仪，是在“更新的时候”来到之前，为肉体立的规例。

你要把亚伦和他儿子们带到会幕门口，用水给他们洗身。你要拿衣服来，给亚伦穿上杂色内袍、以弗得的长外袍、以弗得和胸牌，又束上巧工织成的以弗得的带子。

这些就是他们要做的衣服：胸牌、以弗得、长外袍、杂色内袍、礼冠、腰带。他们要为你哥哥亚伦和他的众子做圣衣，使他们作事奉我的祭司。他们要拿金线、蓝色紫色朱红色线和细麻去做。“他们要拿金线、蓝色紫色朱红色线和捻的细麻，用巧工来做以弗得。以弗得要有两条肩带，连接着两端，好使它相连在一起。以弗得上面的带子，它的巧工要和以弗得一样，用来束上以弗得，要用金线、蓝色紫色朱红色线和捻的细麻做成。你要取两块红宝石，把以色列众子的名字刻在上面，六个名字在一块宝石上，其余六个名字在另一块宝石上，都是照着他们出生的次序。好像宝石雕刻匠刻印章一样，你要把以色列众子的名字刻在这两块宝石上，要把它们镶嵌在金槽中。你要把这两块宝石安放在以弗得的肩带上，作以色列民的记念石。亚伦在耶和华面前，用两肩担当他们的名字，作为记念。你要做金槽，和两条纯金的链子，像做绳子一样拧成，把这像绳子一样的链子放置在二槽上。

摸了这些的人，必不洁净到晚上；如果他不用水洗身，就不可吃圣物。

又从那信实的见证人、死人中首先复生的、地上众君王的统治者耶稣基督临到你们。他爱我们，用自己的血把我们从我们的罪中释放出来，又使我们成为国度，作他父神的祭司。愿荣耀权能都归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。

摩西领亚伦和他的儿子来，用水给他们洗身。然后给亚伦穿上内袍，束上腰带，穿上外袍，又加上以弗得，用巧工织成的以弗得带子束上，把以弗得系在他身上。又给他佩上胸牌，把乌陵和土明放在胸牌里面，把礼冠戴在他头上；在礼冠前面安上金牌，就是圣冠，都是照着耶和华吩咐摩西的。

第七天，他要把身上一切的毛发都剃去；头发、胡须、眉毛和身上一切的毛发都剃去；又要洗衣服，用水洗身，就洁净了。
