He is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites— all their sins— and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the wilderness in the care of someone appointed for the task.

He must place both of his hands on its head. While he does that, he must tell me about all the sins the Israelites have committed. He must tell me about all their evil acts and the times they did not obey me. In that way he puts their sins on the goat’s head. Then he will send the goat away into the desert. The goat will be led away by a man appointed to do it.

And Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over it all the iniquities of the people of Israel, and all their transgressions, all their sins. And he shall put them on the head of the goat and send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness.

He will lay both of his hands on the goat’s head and confess over it all the wickedness, rebellion, and sins of the people of Israel. In this way, he will transfer the people’s sins to the head of the goat. Then a man specially chosen for the task will drive the goat into the wilderness.

我们都如羊走迷，各人偏行己路；耶和华使我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上。

因为我知道我的过犯；我的罪常在我面前。

我向你陈明我的罪，不隐瞒我的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪恶。（细拉）

遮掩自己过犯的，必不顺利；承认且离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

愿你睁眼看，侧耳听你仆人今日昼夜在你面前，为你众仆人以色列人的祈祷，承认我们以色列人向你所犯的罪；我与我父家都犯了罪。我们向你所行的非常败坏，没有遵守你吩咐你仆人摩西的诫命、律例、典章。

以斯拉祷告，认罪，哭泣，俯伏在神殿前的时候，有以色列中的男女和孩童聚集到以斯拉那里，成了一个盛大的会，百姓无不痛哭。

因为，人心里信就可以称义，口里宣认就可以得救。

我面向主神，禁食，披麻蒙灰，恳切祷告祈求。我向耶和华—我的神祈祷、认罪，说：“主啊，你是大而可畏的神，向爱主、守主诫命的人守约施慈爱。我们犯罪作恶，行恶叛逆，偏离你的诫命典章，没有听从你仆人众先知奉你的名向我们君王、官长、祖先和这地所有百姓所说的话。主啊，你是公义的，但我们犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，并你所赶到各国的以色列众人，不论远近，因为背叛了你，脸上蒙羞，正如今日一样。耶和华啊，我们和我们的君王、官长、祖先因得罪了你，脸上就都蒙羞。主—我们的神是怜悯饶恕人的，我们却违背了他，没有听从耶和华—我们神的话，没有遵行他藉仆人众先知向我们颁布的律法。以色列众人都犯了你的律法，偏离、不听从你的话；因此，你仆人摩西律法上所写的诅咒和誓言倾倒在我们身上，因我们得罪了神。神使大灾祸临到我们，实现了警戒我们和审判我们官长的话；原来耶路撒冷所遭遇的灾祸是普天之下未曾有过的。这一切灾祸临到我们，是照摩西律法上所写的，我们却没有求耶和华—我们神的恩惠，使我们回转离开罪孽，明白你的真理。所以耶和华特意使这灾祸临到我们，耶和华—我们的神在他所行的事上都是公义的；我们并没有听从他的话。主—我们的神啊，你曾用大能的手领你的子民出埃及地，使自己得了名声，正如今日一样，现在，我们犯了罪，作了恶。主啊，求你按你丰盛的公义，使你的怒气和愤怒转离你的城耶路撒冷，就是你的圣山。因我们的罪恶和我们祖先的罪孽，耶路撒冷和你的子民被四围的人羞辱。我们的神啊，现在求你垂听你仆人的祈祷恳求，为你自己的缘故使你的脸向荒凉的圣所发光。我的神啊，求你侧耳而听，睁眼而看，眷顾我们那荒凉之地和称为你名下的城。我们在你面前恳求，不是因自己的义，而是因你丰富的怜悯。主啊，求你垂听！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你侧耳，求你实行！为你自己的缘故不要迟延。我的神啊，因这城和这民都是称为你名下的。”我正说话、祷告，承认我的罪和我百姓以色列的罪，为我神的圣山，在耶和华—我的神面前恳求；

当他在这其中的一件事上有罪的时候，就要承认所犯的罪，

“他们要承认自己的罪孽和祖先的罪孽，就是背叛我，行事与我作对的过犯。

他要按手在燔祭牲的头上，为自己赎罪，就蒙悦纳。

那日的四分之一，他们站在自己的地方念耶和华—他们神的律法书，又在那日的四分之一认罪，敬拜耶和华—他们的神。耶书亚、巴尼、甲篾、示巴尼、布尼、示利比、巴尼、基拿尼站在利未人的台阶上，大声哀求耶和华—他们的神。利未人耶书亚、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼、毗他希雅说：“起来，称颂耶和华—你们的神，永世无尽：‘你荣耀之名是应当称颂的，超乎一切称颂和赞美。
