他不用山羊和牛犢的血，而是用自己的血，只一次進入至聖所就獲得了永遠的贖罪。若山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在不潔的人身上，尚且使人成聖，身體潔淨，何況基督的血，他藉着永遠的靈把自己無瑕疵地獻給神，更能洗淨我們的良心，除去致死的行為，好事奉那位永生的神。

因為不信的丈夫會因着妻子成了聖潔；不信的妻子也會因着丈夫成了聖潔。不然，你們的兒女就不潔淨了，但現在他們是聖潔的。

誰能使潔淨出於污穢呢？誰也不能！
