爾告以色列人云、若婦懷孕生子、必不潔七日、與行經之時不潔無異、

“ Say to the Israelites:‘ A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period.

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Suppose a woman becomes pregnant and has a baby boy. Then she will be“ unclean” for seven days. It is the same as when she is“ unclean” during her monthly period.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If a woman conceives and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days. As at the time of her menstruation, she shall be unclean.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son, she will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her menstrual period.

“ Tell the Israelites: When a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a male child, she will be unclean seven days, as she is during the days of her menstrual impurity.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying:‘ When a woman gives birth and delivers a male child, then she shall be unclean for seven days; as she is in the days of her menstruation, she shall be unclean.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ If a woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a man- child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the impurity of her sickness shall she be unclean.

“ Tell the Israelites: When a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a male child, she will be unclean seven days, as she is during the days of her menstrual impurity.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

“ Tell the Israelites,‘ When a woman produces offspring and bears a male child, she will be unclean seven days, as she is unclean during the days of her menstruation.

“‘ If a woman has a discharge, and her discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her impurity seven days. Whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.

How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

God blessed them. God said to them,“ Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

When the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord

What is man, that he should be clean? What is he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

“‘ You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.

Behold, I was born in iniquity. My mother conceived me in sin.

Therefore as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; so death passed to all men, because all sinned.For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren’t like Adam’s disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.The gift is not as through one who sinned; for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.

To the woman he said,“ I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. You will bear children in pain. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
