「在地上成羣的羣聚動物中，對你們不潔淨的是這些：鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴的類羣，

「地上不潔淨的動物有鼬鼠、老鼠、大蜥蜴、

“在地上爬行的生物中，你們應以為不潔淨的是這些：鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴這一類，

『在那些滋生於地上的動物之中、以下這一類對你們都不潔淨；例如鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴、這一類，

凡物匍匐於地、當以為不潔者、即鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴、與其類、

凡物運行於地、而為不潔者、亦有其數、鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴、與其類、

運行於地之活物、亦有爾當視為不潔者、即鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴與其類、

“‘ Of the animals that move along the ground, these are unclean for you: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,

“‘ Many animals move along the ground. Here are the ones that are“ unclean” for you. They include weasels, rats and all kinds of large lizards.

“ And these are unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm on the ground: the mole rat, the mouse, the great lizard of any kind,

“ Of the small animals that scurry along the ground, these are unclean for you: the mole rat, the rat, large lizards of all kinds,

“ These creatures that swarm on the ground are unclean for you: weasels, mice, any kind of large lizard,

‘ Now these are to you the unclean among the swarming things which swarm on the earth: the mole, the mouse, and the great lizard in its kinds,

‘ These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the mole, the mouse, and the large lizard after its kind;

And these are they which are unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard after its kind,

“ These creatures that swarm on the ground are unclean for you: the weasel, the mouse, any kind of large lizard,

These also[ shall be] unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,

“‘ Now this is what is unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm on the land: the rat, the mouse, the large lizard of any kind,

“‘ These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,

“‘ Every creature that moves along the ground is to be regarded as unclean; it is not to be eaten.You are not to eat any creature that moves along the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is unclean. (niv)

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (niv)

From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. (niv)

Jesus answered,“ Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. (niv)

“ This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. (niv)

He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord. (niv)

The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. (niv)

Then he said to them,“ Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” (niv)

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. (niv)

“ Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things— they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord. (niv)

Rise up, Lord, confront them, bring them down; with your sword rescue me from the wicked.By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones. (niv)

“‘ All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be regarded as unclean by you.There are, however, some flying insects that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground. (niv)

Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. (niv)

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,“ Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (niv)

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. (niv)
