“ Say to the Israelites:‘ Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat:

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Many animals live on land. Here are the only ones you can eat.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, These are the living things that you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ Of all the land animals, these are the ones you may use for food.

“ Tell the Israelites: You may eat all these kinds of land animals.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ These are the creatures which you may eat from all the animals that are on the earth.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

“ Tell the Israelites: You may eat all these kinds of land animals.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These[ are] the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that[ are] on the earth.

“ Tell the Israelites:‘ This is the kind of creature you may eat from among all the animals that are on the land.

That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”

being only( with meats and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.

and you shall detest them. You shall not eat of their meat, and you shall detest their carcasses.

“‘ You shall detest these among the birds; they shall not be eaten because they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,

“‘ Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is an abomination. It shall not be eaten.Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps. You shall not make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled by them.For I am Yahweh your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth.

in which were all kinds of four- footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky.A voice came to him,“ Rise, Peter, kill and eat!”But Peter said,“ Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king’s dainties, nor with the wine which he drank. Therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

All food which may be eaten which is soaked in water shall be unclean. All drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

“‘ These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,

“‘ These you may eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat.

You shall not eat any abominable thing.These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the chamois.Every animal that parts the hoof, and has the hoof split in two and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat.Nevertheless these you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of those who have the hoof split: the camel, the hare, and the rabbit. Because they chew the cud but don’t part the hoof, they are unclean to you.The pig, because it has a split hoof but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses.These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat whatever has fins and scales.You shall not eat whatever doesn’t have fins and scales. It is unclean to you.Of all clean birds you may eat.But these are they of which you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the osprey,the red kite, the falcon, the kite after its kind,every raven after its kind,the ostrich, the owl, the seagull, the hawk after its kind,the little owl, the great owl, the horned owl,the pelican, the vulture, the cormorant,the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.All winged creeping things are unclean to you. They shall not be eaten.Of all clean birds you may eat.You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself. You may give it to the foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have long, jointed legs for hopping on the earth.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving.For it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.If you instruct the brothers of these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which you have followed.

“‘ Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.

There is nothing from outside of the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.

Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

“‘ If any animal of which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening.

Then I said,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals. No abominable meat has come into my mouth!”

One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
