“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? For it is especially holy, and he has assigned it to you to take away the guilt of the community and make atonement for them before the LORD.

「你們為什麼不在聖潔之處吃這贖罪祭？這是至聖之物，耶和華賜給你們是要叫你們為會眾擔罪，在耶和華面前為他們贖罪。

“這贖罪祭是至聖的，耶和華又把祭肉給你們，要叫你們擔當會眾的罪孽，在耶和華面前為他們贖罪，你們為甚麼沒有在聖潔的地方吃呢？

『這解罪祭既是至聖的，主又將那祭品給了你們、去擔當會眾的罪罰、而在永恆主面前為他們行除罪禮，你們為甚麼沒有在聖的地方喫呢？

曰、贖罪之牲、既為至聖、曷不食之於聖所、蓋上帝賜之於爾、以任民愆、代為贖罪於耶和華前、

曰、以牲贖罪、為至聖之物、上帝賜之於爾、以任民愆、代為贖罪、於耶和華前、何不於聖地食之、

此贖罪祭牲、何未食之於聖所、此為至聖、主賜之於爾、以任會眾之愆尤、在主前為其贖罪、

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? It is most holy; it was given to you to take away the guilt of the community by making atonement for them before the Lord.

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in a place near the Holy Room? The offering is very holy. It was given to you to take the people’s guilt away. It paid for their sin in the sight of the Lord.

“ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is a thing most holy and has been given to you that you may bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord?

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sacred area?” he demanded.“ It is a holy offering! The Lord has given it to you to remove the guilt of the community and to purify the people, making them right with the Lord.

“ Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place? For it is most holy, and He gave it to you to take away the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord.

“ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in a holy place, since it is most holy, and God has given it to you to bear the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord?

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin- offering in the place of the sanctuary, seeing it is most holy, and he hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Jehovah?

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? For it is especially holy, and He has assigned it to you to take away the guilt of the community and make atonement for them before the Lord.

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it[ is] most holy, and[ God] hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

“ Why did you not eat the sin offering in the sanctuary? For it is most holy and he gave it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement on their behalf before the LORD.

“ Why haven’t you eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is most holy, and he has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Yahweh?

The LORD said to Aaron,“ You, your sons, and your ancestral family will be responsible for iniquity against the sanctuary. You and your sons will be responsible for iniquity involving your priesthood.

It will be on Aaron’s forehead so that Aaron may bear the guilt connected with the holy offerings that the Israelites consecrate as all their holy gifts. It is always to be on his forehead, so that they may find acceptance with the LORD.

by letting the people eat their holy offerings and having them bear the penalty of restitution. For I am the LORD who sets them apart.”

The goat will carry all their iniquities into a desolate land, and the man will release it there.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

But you may ask,‘ Why doesn’t the son suffer punishment for the father’s iniquity?’ Since the son has done what is just and right, carefully observing all my statutes, he will certainly live.The person who sins is the one who will die. A son won’t suffer punishment for the father’s iniquity, and a father won’t suffer punishment for the son’s iniquity. The righteousness of the righteous person will be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked person will be on him.

“ Then lie down on your left side and place the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. You will bear their iniquity for the number of days you lie on your side.For I have assigned you the years of their iniquity according to the number of days you lie down, 390 days; so you will bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.When you have completed these days, lie down again, but on your right side, and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. I have assigned you forty days, a day for each year.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,“ Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the LORD has punished him for the iniquity of us all.He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a sheep silent before her shearers, he did not open his mouth.He was taken away because of oppression and judgment, and who considered his fate? For he was cut off from the land of the living; he was struck because of my people’s rebellion.He was assigned a grave with the wicked, but he was with a rich man at his death, because he had done no violence and had not spoken deceitfully.Yet the LORD was pleased to crush him severely. When you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand, the LORD’s pleasure will be accomplished.After his anguish, he will see light and be satisfied. By his knowledge, my righteous servant will justify many, and he will carry their iniquities.

Any male among the priests may eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place; it is especially holy.“ The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the law is the same for both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.

so also Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

These must be worn by Aaron and his sons whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary area, so that they do not incur guilt and die. This is to be a permanent statute for Aaron and for his future descendants.

The LORD spoke to Moses:“ Tell Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the sin offering. The sin offering is most holy and must be slaughtered before the LORD at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered.The priest who offers it as a sin offering will eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place, in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.Anything that touches its flesh will become holy, and if any of its blood spatters on a garment, then you must wash that garment in a holy place.A clay pot in which the sin offering is boiled is to be broken; if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, it is to be scoured and rinsed with water.Any male among the priests may eat it; it is especially holy.But no sin offering may be eaten if its blood has been brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place; it must be burned.
