又从城中拿住一个管理士兵的官，并在城里找到王面前的七个亲信，和召募当地百姓之将军的书记官，以及在城中找到的六十个当地百姓。尼布撒拉旦护卫长把这些人带到利比拉的巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王击杀他们，在哈马地的利比拉把他们处死。这样，犹大人就被掳去离开本地。

耶和华啊，求你观看，留意你向谁这样行。妇人岂可吃自己所生、所抚育的婴孩吗？祭司和先知岂可在主的圣所中被杀吗？
