They have chased me sore like a bird, they that are mine enemies without cause.

无故与我为仇的追逼我，像追雀鸟一样。

敌人无故地追捕我，如同捕猎飞鸟。

那些无故与我为敌的人追捕我，像追捕雀鸟一样。

敵人無故地追捕我，如同捕獵飛鳥。

『我的仇敵無緣無故緊緊追捕我，像捕雀鳥一樣。

無故為我敵者、急追我如追鳥兮、

敵人追予、出於無因、若鳥被逐兮。

無故憾我者、追我若鳥、

Those who were my enemies without cause hunted me like a bird.

Those who were my enemies for no reason at all hunted me down as if I were a bird.

“ I have been hunted like a bird by those who were my enemies without cause;

My enemies, whom I have never harmed, hunted me down like a bird.

For no reason, my enemies hunted me like a bird.

My enemies without reason Hunted me down like a bird;

My enemies without cause Hunted me down like a bird.

For no apparent reason, my enemies hunted me like a bird.

Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.

For no good reason my enemies hunted me down like a bird.

They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit; Without cause have they digged a pit for my soul.

But this cometh to pass, that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

And he said, Wherefore doth my lord pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in my hand?Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth away from the presence of Jehovah: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.

Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, Wherein have I sinned against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

Forgive, I pray thee, the trespass of thy handmaid: for Jehovah will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord fighteth the battles of Jehovah; and evil shall not be found in thee all thy days.And though men be risen up to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul, yet the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with Jehovah thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as from the hollow of a sling.

Then the princes said unto the king, Let this man, we pray thee, be put to death; forasmuch as he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.And Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand; for the king is not he that can do anything against you.Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the king’s son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire; and Jeremiah sank in the mire.

They have compassed me about also with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause.

Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that Jehovah had delivered thee to- day into my hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee; but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth my hand against my lord; for he is Jehovah’s anointed.Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand; for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in my hand, and I have not sinned against thee, though thou huntest after my life to take it.Jehovah judge between me and thee, and Jehovah avenge me of thee; but my hand shall not be upon thee.As saith the proverb of the ancients, Out of the wicked cometh forth wickedness; but my hand shall not be upon thee.After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.Jehovah therefore be judge, and give sentence between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thy hand.

And the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe; for they had made that the prison.When Jeremiah was come into the dungeon- house, and into the cells, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;

Princes have persecuted me without a cause; But my heart standeth in awe of thy words.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: They that would cut me off, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: That which I took not away I have to restore.

In Jehovah do I take refuge: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain;
