Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am in distress; My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body too.For my life is spent with sorrow And my years with sighing; My strength has failed because of my guilt, And my body has wasted away.

I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It is melted within me.
