Who is he who says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord doesn’t command it?

除非主命定，谁能说成就成呢？

若非主发命令，谁能说了就成呢？

若非主发命令，谁能说了就成呢？

若非主许可，谁的话可以兑现呢？

除非主命定，谁能说成，就成了呢？

除非主命定，誰能說成就成呢？

若非主發命令，誰能說了就成呢？

若非主許可，誰的話可以兌現呢？

除非主命定，誰能說成，就成了呢？

非主所命、誰能言之、而即成兮、

未得主命、誰能言而有應兮。

若非主命、誰能言有則有、

Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?

Suppose people order something to happen. It won’t happen unless the Lord has planned it.

Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it?

Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission?

Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the Lord has ordained it?

Who is there who speaks and it comes to pass, Unless the Lord has commanded it?

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it?

Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the Lord has ordained it?

Who[ is] he[ that] saith, and it cometh to pass,[ when] the Lord commandeth[ it] not?

Whose command was ever fulfilled unless the Lord decreed it?

For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.

A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.

There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.

All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him,“ What are you doing?”

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Yahweh.

For he said to Moses,“ I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,

Come now, you who say,“ Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.For you ought to say,“ If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.”
