因他并不甘心使人受苦，使人忧愁。

For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.

He doesn’t want to bring pain or suffering to anyone.

How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live! (niv)

The Lord will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon— to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task. (niv)
