For the Lord will not cast off forever.

For no one is cast off by the Lord forever.

The Lord doesn’t turn his back on people forever.

For the Lord will not cast off forever,

For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever.

For the Lord will not reject us forever.

For the Lord will not reject forever,

For the Lord will not cast off for ever.

For the Lord will not reject us forever.

For the Lord will not cast off for ever:

For the Lord will not reject us forever.

For the Lord will not cast off forever.

“ For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you.With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the Lord, your Redeemer.“ For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?

For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.

I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,“ Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”?But what does the divine response say to him?“ I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.

Thus says the Lord:“ If heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says the Lord.

“ Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.

For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.
