This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.

我想起这事，心里就有指望。

O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore?Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? SelahAnd I said,“ This is my anguish; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.”I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.

“ The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,“ Therefore I hope in Him!”The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth.Let him sit alone and keep silent, Because God has laid it on him;Let him put his mouth in the dust— There may yet be hope.

My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word.
