O Israel, hope in the LORD, for the LORD exhibits loyal love, and is more than willing to deliver.

For the message is a witness to what is decreed; it gives reliable testimony about how matters will turn out. Even if the message is not fulfilled right away, wait patiently; for it will certainly come to pass– it will not arrive late.

I asked,“ Will the Lord reject me forever? Will he never again show me his favor?Has his loyal love disappeared forever? Has his promise failed forever?Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has his anger stifled his compassion?”Then I said,“ I am sickened by the thought that the sovereign One might become inactive.I will remember the works of the LORD. Yes, I will remember the amazing things you did long ago!

“ My portion is the Lord,” I have said to myself, so I will put my hope in him.ט( Tet)The LORD is good to those who trust in him, to the one who seeks him.It is good to wait patiently for deliverance from the LORD.It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.י( Yod)Let a person sit alone in silence, when the LORD is disciplining him.Let him bury his face in the dust; perhaps there is hope.

I desperately long for your deliverance. I find hope in your word.
