I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of His wrath.

我是因耶和华忿怒的杖，遭遇困苦的人。

因耶和华愤怒的杖，我是遭遇困苦的人。

我在耶和华烈怒的杖下受尽痛苦。

因主震怒之杖而經驗到苦難的，我就是那種人。

因主忿怒之杖、而遭艱苦、我即其人兮、

主怒余責予、備嘗艱苦、惟余一人兮。

主怒加責、使遭艱苦者、其人即我、

I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of the Lord’s wrath.

I am a man who has suffered greatly. The Lord has used the Babylonians to punish my people.

I am the man who has seen affliction under the rod of his wrath;

I am the one who has seen the afflictions that come from the rod of the Lord’s anger.

I am the man who has seen affliction under the rod of God’s wrath.

I am the man who has seen misery Because of the rod of His wrath.

I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

I am the man who has seen affliction under the rod of God’s wrath.

I am the man who has experienced affliction from the rod of his wrath.

I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

Your wrath lies heavy upon me, And You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah

“ Have pity on me, have pity on me, O you my friends, For the hand of God has struck me!

I have been afflicted and ready to die from my youth; I suffer Your terrors; I am distraught.Your fierce wrath has gone over me; Your terrors have cut me off.

So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the king’s son, which was in the court of the prison, and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire. So Jeremiah sank in the mire.

I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, Nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand, For You have filled me with indignation.Why is my pain perpetual And my wound incurable, Which refuses to be healed? Will You surely be to me like an unreliable stream, As waters that fail?

Cursed be the day in which I was born! Let the day not be blessed in which my mother bore me!Let the man be cursed Who brought news to my father, saying,“ A male child has been born to you!” Making him very glad.And let that man be like the cities Which the Lord overthrew, and did not relent; Let him hear the cry in the morning And the shouting at noon,Because he did not kill me from the womb, That my mother might have been my grave, And her womb always enlarged with me.Why did I come forth from the womb to see labor and sorrow, That my days should be consumed with shame?

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

“ Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Behold and see If there is any sorrow like my sorrow, Which has been brought on me, Which the Lord has inflicted In the day of His fierce anger.“ From above He has sent fire into my bones, And it overpowered them; He has spread a net for my feet And turned me back; He has made me desolate And faint all the day.“ The yoke of my transgressions was bound; They were woven together by His hands, And thrust upon my neck. He made my strength fail; The Lord delivered me into the hands of those whom I am not able to withstand.
